Spread out entry **EDIT**

Went to bed early enough last night, but I tossed and turned for some reason.  We slept with the windows open, and it did get a little bit cooler last night than the night before…that might have been part of it.  Plus, the neighborhood was a bit noisier than usual, I remember hearing people talking in front of the apartments next door around midnight.  Irwin and Gracie started barking around 4 this morning, but I don’t know why.  Just kind of a restless night for all of us, I suppose.

 ***Two days later***

Dang, I got interrupted and was never able to get back to my entry.

It’s COLD again!!  It is almost 11 and only 39 degrees today.  I don’t like it, was enjoying the warmth.  Hmmm, I need to change my diary look again.  Might work on that tonight, not sure yet.  Ready for a Spring look on it though.

Yesterday afternoon was really stressful at work.  I had an end user that was beyond frustrated at how long it was going to take me to get a specific item in for him.  The problem was not mind….we are a research & development facility so nothing we use are "off the shelf" things.  EVERYthing has to be special ordered, which takes a lot of time.  But, they think that I can blink and make them appear and so I ended up bringing the vendor into our conversation so they could explain it directly.  Then I felt awful because the vendor rep I ended up with was a fill-in and she got blasted with both barrels.  I apologized to her later for the end user, but she was tough and told me to not worry about it.  She, in turn, brought in our field service rep and they managed to come up with an acceptable short term fix, but my end user was still irritated.  It was not a fun period of time there for a while.  It will continue on later this afternoon when the representative is actually on site to talk with my end user.  I hope to not be a part of that conversation.  haha

Mike has a short weekend coming up, I’m glad.  I’m thinking it’s supposed to be cooler outside though, so not sure what we’re going to do.  Last weekend was really fun and we got lots of vegetable seeds planted in our little greenhouse type containers.  They are really coming up already, I love it!  I hope that we get lots and lots of yummy veggies out of our own garden this year.  Last year we moved right in the middle of growing season, so we didn’t get anything.  The Farmer’s Market got lots of our business though.

The wind has been absolutely terrible the last few days.  It’s time to start pulling my hair up into a ponytail whenever I have to go outside.  I’m not overly fond of having to do that, but it’s better than having my hair fly into my eyes and face all of the time.

I love that my life is pretty danged boring right now.  I’m not a fan of drama, but I sure don’t make for exciting reading here.  haha

Our 13th wedding anniversary is coming up.  We don’t have any plans, it’s on a Monday.  Maybe we’ll go to Tulsa or something that weekend before, but that’s also Easter weekend, so I’m not sure.  The traffic might be a bit heavier than we want to deal with.

We went to Wal-Mart yesterday after I got off work looking for about three things.  Of course, came out with an entire cartload of stuff, but it was good.  We’ve not been shopping in quite some time and so we got breakfast and lunch stuff…easy things.  We didn’t even really spend much money, so that was a nice bonus.  Had to buy both cat and dog food, of course.

I just got through heating my lunch up, so I better eat it while its hot.  I hope you all have been doing well.  Take care of yourselves!

***EDIT***

I just bought tickets for Mike and I to go see Keith Urban in August!!!   WHOO HOO!

It’s really hard to go back to cold weather after you have had a taste of spring. Same thing up here.

We’re having a lovely spring so far. A little cool, but as long as we have sun that’s OK

Happy anniversary! I know how you must look forward to homegrown veggies. I’ve grown a few and I loved them. Everything homegrown tastes better than store bought, even than the stuff from the fruit market. I was so surprised at how juicy green onions are fresh-picked. Mmmm, I’m starting to day dream about fresh veggies.

Happy anniversary! 🙂 We can’t plant here until mid May.

Your shopping trip sounds like one of mine! Go in for a few items and come out with many more. 🙂

RYN: Thanks for the tip … I’ll have to pick some of that up for Macy. She’s always so stiff in her one hip. When she was young she slipped down some icy steps out back and I think that did something to her hip joint.
