Weekend recap

Saturday we went to Sams.  On the way there we stopped at the lake next our house to let the kids play on the playground, but it was extremely muddy, so we told the kids we would take them to another park.  When we got there, the gates were closed.  grrr.  I hate we I unintentionally let the boys down.  We did let them play on the train that is sitting next to the parking lot though, so it wasn’t totally a waste of time.  Sunday we drove to Charleston for a change of scenery.  Jamie wanted to go to Best Buy to check out a tablet that he is ordering.  We took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese to play.  They had a lot of fun.  I think it is the first time we have been to Chuck E Cheese since Owen was a baby.  We had dinner at Longhorn and headed home.  I had such a bad headache all day.  That seems to be the norm lately.

Yesterday I took the day off from babysitting so I could go with Jamie to get some errands done.  We went to the bank first to pay off the truck loan (Jamie refinanced it some where else for a much lower interest rate 1.5%).  After the bank we headed to the DMV to get our tags renewed for the car.  Jamie had been planning to get it done yesterday for some time (the tags expired last month), and coincidentally, we were pulled over Sunday on our way home from Charleston.  The citation was dismissed, as long as we send proof that we got the tags taken care of. 

I think today will be a rest day from working out.  My legs are actually a little sore today, which is the first time since I started working out on the elliptical.  I have worked out for the past 6 days straight, so maybe I need to give them a rest for a day.

I’m a little boring today.
