TGIF, decisions, weightloss rambling **
TGIF! This week went by faster than the last. The weather has been really nice this week, so we have gotten to spend quite a bit of time outside. I have been taking the kids out during the day, then we head to the park or lake when Jamie gets home from work. It’s amazing how sunshine can instantly improve your mood 🙂 Being outside reminds me how much work I want to do out there. I need to weed the landscaping in front of the house before all of the plants start growing. There is a lot around the house that we hope to get accomplished this spring/summer. Hopefully we can find the time and funds to get it all done.
They finally just posted the new position for Jamie. Hopefully they will have his position changed over in a couple of weeks. It would be nice to have his new paycheck with the raise before we go to the beach.
I’m telling Izzy’s mom on Monday that I want to stop babysitting. I set a deadline of Monday for myself so that I will actually do it and not keep putting it off. I’m going to give her a month and half to find a new sitter, which should be plenty of time. I’d like to be finished with babysitting by June 1st. I’m dreading telling her. I know she is going to be disappointed/upset. I could imagine sending your kid to someone’s house for a year and a half, and then having to find someone new would suck. I’m going to probably continue to keep watching the little boy I sit for because I won’t have him this summer (his grandmother keeps him in the summer), and I only have him 4 days every 2 weeks.
I swear I’m so over being stuck with this weight loss. I feel like I have gained and lost the same 3 lbs over and over for the past 3-4 months. I’m still working at it though. This nice weather has renewed my motivation to keep losing. I’ve been really hungry lately, and I have been managing it better then in the past. I’ve found the more I exercise the more that I am STARVING each day. I still need to incorporate some strength training into my routine. I’ve found a few videos on youtube that are helpful. Jamie went to the dr yesterday, and he has lost 38 pounds by their scale. I think he was really surprised that he had lost so much. He has really gotten thin. Oh, and I have been wearing shorts that were way too tight to even button last summer 🙂 Woohoo for being smaller! I can’t wait to move to the next size down. My bras are getting looser in the cups too. I’ve found that with the more weight I lose, the more I want to wear nice clothes and girly dresses. I used to be so uncomfortable in dresses.
I was supposed to have my annual dr visit next week (girly doctor) but they sent me a letter rescheduling my appointment for next month. Grr. Now I have another month to dread it. I guess I could look at it like I atleast have another month and 1/2 to lose more weight before I go 😛 I’d love to lose another 8 lb or so by then.
TMI** So I’ve been having some spotting/ight bleeding this week. My period isn’t due for a while. I have spotted before, but it usually hasn’t been this much or lasted for a few days. Also, my period last month was lighter than it normally is. I wonder if weightloss will affect your flow? I’m hoping mine gets lighter with the more weight I lose 😛
yay for promotions and congrats to jamie for the 38 lb weight loss (i had to go back and spell jaime the correct way). have you upped your cals at all since adding working out? cause you need to, just to avoid that super hungry thing.

Randomed into your diary…my period changed when i lost some weight but i also started taking meds for my migraines so not sure if that also contributed. It’s what caused my weight loss in the first place. Anyway…take care.
