Big changes… and pictures !!!

Looks like changes are coming.

If you are friends with me on Facebook, please don’t mention it there.  We usually don’t tell people until I am 12 weeks or so, and as you can tell from the line, it is still VERY early. I took a test on Tuesday and it had an extremely faint line.  The pic above is from yesterday, and the line is somewhat darker than the one from Tuesday.   It still feels a little surreal, like this may not stick.  I sent Jamie a text this morning with this pic, and said "Looks like we are about to be outnumbered".  He kind of knew I was pregnant already as my period was late, this just confirmed it.  Of course, I just sold ALL of our baby clothes over the past month.  Oh well, I guess that means I get to shop for new ones.  If you go by date of conception, I have a rough due date of June 21st.  I just hope this pregnancy goes smoothly.  I have a lot of thoughts in my head about having another baby, but  I am having trouble sorting them all out.  I’m ecstatic at the thought of having another little bundle to snuggle and love. I am terrified at the thought of giving birth again.  I’m worried about how hard it could be to juggle 3 kids. We are going to need to buy a bigger house eventually (we currently have 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom), and maybe even a bigger vehicle eventually.  I think I can fit 3 carseats/booster seats in my car’s backseat if we get some slim models.  So much to think of. I guess I have 8 months to figure it out.  Of course I’m hoping to have a little girl, but another little boy will be ok too.

Yesterday was  a day full of news.  I was called for an interview for a (different) job a the university.  I scheduled the interview, but now I’m not sure what I should do about it.  I mean, I could be having a baby in June, and then what?  Would I take 6 weeks off and go back?  Is it wise to start a job while pregnant?  I dunno.  I think I forgot to write about my last job interview there.  I think I did awesome, but they wound up choosing a girl who had worked for one of the committee members before.  Ofcourse.  Why can’t I ever have a fair chance?!  Why do people waste candidates time if they already have someone in mind for a job?!

I signed the boys up for itty bitty basketball (ages 3 to 6) at the rec center.  They had their second practice on Tuesday.  Owen is doing pretty well with it.  Ethan had to miss practice this week because he has pink eye. The first practice, he was more interested in just running around the gym acting crazy, than paying attention to the coach.  We will see how he does next week.

I have a lot more basketball pics, but Ethan is playing with my phone currently.

We took the kids to the pumpkin farm last weekend. It was really fun. They had bounce houses, dried corn to play in, face painting, a pumpkin chucker, a corn maze, hay rides, apple orchards and of course the pumpkin patch.  It was 80 degrees and sunny, so it was a beautiful day.  Again, I have a lot more pics, but Ethan won’t part with my phone.  These are from Facebook.  If you live any where near Wytheville VA, go check out Williams Orchards!
