Hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July.  We had plans to go to the campground where my parents are camping and go swimming and then have burgers and hotdogs with them.  Jamie wasn’t into that plan, so we scrapped it.  We wound up taking Ethan to Chuck E Cheese in Roanoke (about 2 hour drive) for his birthday.  The kids had a blast, and I guess that is all that matters.  We played with some sparklers before bedtime.  I was surprised that the boys weren’t afraid to hold them.  I did have to keep a very close eye on Ethan as he kept wanting to grab the lit part.  I took a few pics but most of them turned out blurry or the kids weren’t looking at the camera.  Fireworks were being set off like crazy last night.  Owen kept complaining that he was scared, and had trouble going to sleep.  Maybe next year we will take them to watch some fireworks that are set off at the stadium.

Jamie is set on another baby.  Like now.  I told him I don’t want to be pregnant at my current weight.  If we try for another one, I want to lose at least another 20 pounds first.  I weigh less now than I did when I got pregnant with Ethan though 😛  Maybe by September I will be at a more comfortable weight? I had a dream last night that I was pregnant.  If we do have another kid, my car (which is a tiny little Toyota Yaris), is no longer sufficient.  There is no way to get 3 car seats in the back, even if we do invest in the slim models.  We do have Jamie’s truck that can fit 3 kids, but I dont want to be stuck driving it all of the time.  So that is something to think about.  I’m not keen on taking on a larger car payment right now.  We are on track to have things paid off, and then we will have a whole lot of wiggle room in the budget.

I need to write a longer entry but this laptop is pissing me off (touch pad is too sensitive and large, and i keep hitting it and it moves my cursor, which messes with where I am typing.)

Kate was scared of the fireworks this year too Oh baby! Some of the smaller sedans like the Matrix and Civic’s can handle 3 slim fits I think. I still have a hard time gassing our SUV because I’ve driven a small car for so long. Everything is more expensive with bigger vehicles :/

ryn: I don’t think she has problems with my weight loss but I think she has issues with me being free of the family. She sees that my life as a whole has improved because I’ve severed most ties with them and since she’s still dependent on them she’s burdened with their BS. I doubt she meant anything bad by her comment, I just took it the wrong way 🙂
