Not changing my mind

Cause I am stubborn, or stupid, or both.  But I am not changing my mind on how to move forward in my current situation, though right now it has become easier to stick to backing away a bit.

Over the past week, since I wrote my last entry, I have had people coming out of the woodwork it seems to caution me.  Much of it is stuff I’d concluded on my own ages ago, and was choosing to overlook.  And, for whatever reason, I am sticking to that very plan. 

Because I am stubborn.  That is why.  Duh.  And because some of these things genuinely just don’t bother me, really.  I have a pretty solid theory about the cause of these things (which I am being intentionally vague on for now) and am hoping to one day get the opportunity to dig as little deeper.  Because really, this is a person who has been there for me, and regardless of the glaringly obvious bullshit, it doesn’t overshaddow the friendship.

I don’t turn my back on people unless they make me.  Plain and simple.
