I’m still alive!
Noters Beware!! This is a “mean-note” free diary.
I know….I know…I barely every write here anymore. It’s true. I’ve become a Facebook addict. On occasion, I do pop over and read entries…but most times, I just have little to write about, it seems. Sometimes I have an idea in my head, and I start to work at it, but by the time I actually have enough time to write an entry…it’s old news. I need to get back here. I miss it.
Not much has changed, yet. I’m getting ready to move to yet another house, although it will probably be a few months yet. It’s going to be a change. I’m trying to change jobs. We’ll see how that goes. The new house is waaaaaayyyy out in the middle of nowhere, so it’s going to be a longer drive to work, even if I get the new job. In the summer that’s fine, but the winter months have me worried. I don’t know how well the roads are maintained that far out in the country. On the plus side, the dogs will have room to run and play. And that will be awesome for them.
And speaking of the dogs…I have about a bazillion pictures to share. We discovered a dog park near here that we enjoy visiting once in a while. The place is an old golf course that they turned into “doggy heaven”. It has different areas which are all fenced in where dogs can run and play. It also has 2 separate ponds-small lakes, actually for “dogs only” swimming. Slater and Scout took 2 obedience classes there. The place is terribly expensive, but once in a while we splurge and get a day pass and the boys get to go play.
Here are some pics from this past weekend:
That one is Scout…looking cute as ever!
That one is Slater, practicing his “High-fives” with my friend’s son, Sam.
And another high-five!
Here are both of the boys…carrying a big stick around. This is typical of them. They are always wanting the same toy, or stick, or ball, or bone. It doesn’t matter if there are a hundred…they both want the SAME ONE! š
This one is Slater…at one of the ponds.
That one is one of my favorites. It’s Scout by one of the ponds. I just love this pic!
I’m going to try to be here a little more often, and hopefully I can find things to write about. Hopefully the pictures will tide you over for now. š
Welcome back. Great dogs. Be well.

Wonderful pics! Your dogs are lovely. And I understand that same stick comment. Mine always want the same toy/stick/piece of garbage/etc too. š
