Doing the friday dance!! Yippee

It’s another day another dollar here in the dept of psychiatry.   The doc that is right across the hall from me has had a couple of interesting patients this week.     Sometimes he tells me a little bit of whats going on with them.

He had one patient the other day that refuses to take the medication that was prescribed to him because he had read an article about it that said that the drug was tested on monkeys and after 6 months of taking this med the monkeys had lost their memory. 

So now the guy refuses to take it.   lol

He also had one women run out of his office crying her eyes out in the middle of their session.   He stood in the hall way right in front of my office and he was stunned. 

He is after all a psych in training.   We call them residents here. 

I couldnt help but to laugh and i said "How dare you make her cry like that".   LOL

He said "Yeah, I just dont understand what just happened". 

I’m assuming that he left to go look for her because they came back toghether and finished the session. 

So now when a female patient leaves his office he says " Well atleast she didnt cry" or "She didnt storm out of here".  LOL

Anyways,  Yay its friday.   I do have a busy weekend coming up. 

Today after work Tonya is taking me to a new steak house that has opened up near us.   Yay

Tomorrow we were supposed to go to her parents house for a cookout but i think that we are all just going out to eat instead. 

Sunday i am going out of town with my sister.   They are throwing a surprise birthday party for her mom and she really wants me to meet her and her family.

I am really nervous about meeting them but i will still go.  Hopefully they will let me take some pics.
