Hello friends.

Obviously sorry I’ve dropped off the face of the Earth. I may actually do something about that, maybe even soon. In the meantime I’ve been stuck in a Florida Condo without internet for the past week getting terrible itching fits and suffering periods of mental agony, since I went on vacation with my family.  It was a pretty subtly absurd place, to say the least. Perhaps I’ll write about it.

In the meantime, since I didn’t have internet, one day I made an index of all of the DVDs that were there. Like the last place, the movies were strictly Chinese(?) bootlegs. However, unlike the last place, they came in folder sleeves that were riddled with typos, printing errors and absurd critic quotes. I should note that aside from some exclamation points on The Man, all quotations are written as they appear on the box, including what Billing Block appeared on the rear of the case, regardless of what film it was. And in case you’re wondering, The Kid refers to the 2000 Bruce Willis film.

Anthony Hopkins has made a brilliant job of the role, his accent wasn’t too bad, and changing his expression, you just knew how Burt felt when confronted by an apparently insurmountable obstacle (I won’t spoil it) and his placid acceptance of the inevitable falls tumbles and (etc. etc.)
