She Works Hard for the Money

Why did Donna Summer write so many songs about escorts? About women struggling so hard to care for themselves? And the Bad Girls, were they really sad girls? They must have not been doing what I do.

New client today. Older businessman who seems to spend more time on the golf coarse then behind the desk. Should life be so sweet? Seems so unfair, but I suppose if life has been kind to you and you can enjoy it somewhat and let others line your pockets, more power to ya. I liked him, he was very pleasant. All kinds of praises that his search is over for the girl he wanted (me) and that he will call again and again…great. We shall see. Honestly, he was a smoker….gross. But a nice man….I dont like the way smokers smell and it permeates out of thier pores and is detectable in thier …um….body secretions. Gross.

Well, tho we were to have an hour, it was over sooner than that….and I was on my way and had lunch with another working girl. She is moving out of state soon and I shall miss her. We have become close friends and she has been a mentor to me in the Bizz.

Life at home is fine…as usual husband is rarely here and the kids are fine. Older sons face is still showing signs of Bells Palsy but he is still fine otherwise. My 2 year old has his wellness check up tomorrow morning….he is getting immunizations too. I am off the clock tomorrow. I already have clients lined up for next week….that about sums it up folks.
