To Old Friends

I almost missed this email.

Who checks the promotions and updates tabs of their email? Not me! Except…Tonight I did.

OD was such a part of my young adult life. It was a refuge for my angsty, nerdy self. It’s often hard to look at writing from the past, but I like the girl behind those words. She had so much growth ahead of her, hard times, adventures, and goodness! When I stopped writing is when the true growth started.

I don’t know if I’ll keep writing here. I remember how comforting it was to have comments and friends, who I would never meet, be here to support me. It was important. Thank you for listening then and now.

Who knows? Maybe I will keep writing. I mean, there is an emoji option now!
