One Year Coming Up
Our one year anniversary is coming up in a few weeks, and it’s definitely been a bumpy ride. I think, though, that with this huge milestone in our relationship coming up it has allowed us to sit back and look at everything we’ve been through and realize that we made it and are still standing. Things have been so pleasant lately since he finally passed calculus and was able to graduate. Now that he found out where he will be working full time, a huge load has been taken off both of our shoulders and the sun is finally starting to shine through again after so many months of pure hell.
I know he’s planning something big for our one year because he’s being so sneaky about running "errands" and he’ll almost drop a hint and then correct himself before he gives away too much information. It’s really cute.
I’ve been thinking about what I should do for him gift-wise. I’ll only be able to spend about $60-80 (if even that) and I want to stretch it out as much as possible. But…a big part of me just wants to go all out on one big thing just to see the look on his face. I was looking at Tiffany’s online and they have some great crystal beer mugs. He’s been looking at beer mugs for a while every time we go shopping, so I might just splurge on those. Who knows…he might see the Tiffany’s box and start thinking about getting me something shiny from there sometime in the future 
haha doesn’t hurt to daydream…
I also thought about going the "something handmade" route, but it’s too reminiscent of the gift I made my ex-fiance on our 2 year anniversary. I’d rather not have any memories of that come flooding back while I’m making my boyfriend something….soooo…..his gift will be bought this year.
I’m really excited to see what he comes up with. He’s really creative and he loves doing things like anniversaries and birthdays big and over the top which is a-ok with me.
Well time to get back to work with some more daydreaming on the side. Oh and thank God for this 3-day weekend! Hallelujah!
