I Love the Sound of Thunder
We’re getting some crazy storms rolling in tonight. We’ve had rain for almost everyday since April, but thunder and lightning hasn’t really been a part of the show until tonight. The lightning is amazing. It almost looks like it’s trying to impress the way it streaks across the sky, and the thunder is just a perfect duet. I love the sound of thunder. It’s such an intrigue to me. It just sounds so powerful and to the point. I hope it keeps up. It’s good company while I sit here in an empty apartment.
My boys (boyfriend and dog) have gone to his parents house 2 hrs away to switch out vehicles. He’s getting a lot of stuff from Ikea for his new apartment and needs the truck to transport everything. He’s so excited about it all. It’s really nice to see a smile on his face lately rather than a stressed out frown. I hope that keeps up, too. He’s so incredibly handsome when he smiles. *insert daydream here*
Things between us have been going good. We haven’t fought as much…well with the exception of a very drunk Saturday night when we both got into an argument about commitment (but that’s a whole other entry I don’t feel like writing). We got over it, though, and are back onto the track of smiles and sunshine. It should keep up since I’m going home tomorrow for a week mainly to stay out of his way while he finishes up his summer classes and finishes moving in, and I need to finish my passport stuff and good ol’ FAFSA financial aid forms with my Dad in person.
*random question* I’m looking to get my boyfriend something sweet and memorable for his graduation present. Any ideas? I don’t want to get him anything like cologne, clothes, anything engraved, etc. I want something more personal (and not expensive) that he can go, "aww she put a lot of thought into this…" I’m open to ideas 🙂 Thanks!
well you can always make him a picture of yourself and put it in a frame with sayings on it…..or I dunno I’m not very good at things like this…..lol

Aaargh! FAFSA! *writhes in pain* I hate FAFSA! As for a gift, I’m not very creative, maybe a picture album of you and him and his friends and family?

making something is always the most sentimental way of giving something. or getting something personally important that he’ll know right away was really hard for you to find. Just think about something that he would appreciate and set your heart on accomplishing it. he’ll love it! 🙂 RYN: I wish I’d lived with guys too. You do need at least one girl to help mediate the cleanliness though. :p
