First Day of Class – It Blew

  Summer’s over and that’s where I just laugh, because there was literally no thing as summer for Texas this year.  Yea we got the crazy hot weather, but the rain came with it and so did the closing of rivers, lakes, and major highways to even go anywhere!!!  ahhh  but  I swore that my frustration over 3 perfectly good months lost had come to an end.  
   I started school today at a new university.  The class was a breeze, but the campus is a freakin workout.  I’ve never been up and down so many hills at one time…I tried to look cute for class today but that went out the window once I showed up to class with sweat-drenched hair, top, and jeans.  I must have looked like a half drowned dog with some of the looks I was getting.  BUT let’s thank the rain again for this one because after it rained this morning for the bazillionth time, the nasty humidity stuck in the air like an old man’s fart.  Seriously, I hate to be so crass here but it’s the only way to describe it! 
    Tomorrow I have an 8 o’clock class and I’m commuting 30 min so I have to leave here around 7:15.  This semester can seriously blow me.  Here’s to trying to finally graduate before I’m old and moldy.  CHEERS!
