an entry for me
I do have things to write about but until I stop worrying about them, I won’t bother.
However, here’s a poem that I forgot I liked. I can relate to it in alot of ways, especially lately.
Adlestrop
Yes, I remember Adlestrop —
The name, because one afternoon
Of heat the express-train drew up there
Unwontedly. It was late June.
The steam hissed. Someone cleared his throat.
No one left and no one came
On the bare platform. What I saw
Was Adlestrop — only the name
And willows, willow-herb, and grass,
And meadowsweet, and haycocks dry,
No whit less still and lonely fair
Than the high cloudlets in the sky.
And for that minute a blackbird sang
Close by, and round him, mistier,
Farther and farther, all the birds
Of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.

The writer, as a note, was killed in 1917 during WW1…
Having lived on trains this last year or so, I think I might have been through this station… I wonder where it is exactly…

Hey! Yeah, it really sucks being sick. The Flu turned into Pnuemonia and now i’m in the hospital. I’ve been in here for a week and won’t be going home until around December 14/15. I hope. This hasn’t been my year at all. I’m trying to get situated to where i’m able to have a lung transplant, but there’s some red flags that keep popping up so until everything settles down.
