Buff, Movie??
I often wonder what people do with their weekends. I never seem to have much going on. I used to, I suppose, when I was dating Dakota, and I could still, if I went to the bar every Friday and Sunday like our friends do, but even that gets really, really old.
Friday night I watched movies. Saturday I watched movies, went to a craft show with my mom, and then came home and watched movies. Sunday, I went to my parent’s house, we went to eat lunch and sat virtually in silence, my mom and I went to the store and then we went to the…you guessed, it…MOVIES!! LOL
I came home, and sat my butt in front of the TV and watched, well…Ellen.
Not to say that I didn’t get other things done too – I did my laundry right away Friday night, so that I didn’t have to worry about rushing to get it done on Sunday nights like I usually do. I worked on some crafty stuff for my cousin’s kids and made 24 snowmen ornaments (It sounds like a lot, but it was a kit that consisted of gluing 4 beads together on a pipe cleaner. Ooooohhh, challenging!)
Anyway, I guess I’m just lonely. I know there are a lot of folks out there that focus on things with their partner or their kids over the weekend, and I don’t have that anymore. And others probably have shopping or other events like parties and hiking and all that too. I know when snowboarding season gets started, it will be different and pretty soon I’ll be asking for one day at home to do nothing instead of always being up and somewhere. That’s the way I goes, I suppose.
Still, I watched FIVE movies this weekend. ::shakes head::
