My body has always been large due to all the sports I played while growing up and all the fun I had in the Army for 22 years working out three times a day every day.
I let my self go a little when I retired and gained 88 pounds.
The blame goes to having too much fun working out, running, doing the half marathons, the 6-mile speed walks, the swims, the weights, then nothing.
The Atkins plan works if you can stay with it. I have used it many times in the past in conjunction with my work out programs but was never able to stay with it.
When I was in my 30s I enjoyed drinking and that is not good on the Atkins.
We will see how my will power holds and if I really want to loose and if I can loose 88 pounds in the New Year. Who knows!
After all at least ten pounds are now gone.
The idea that TFIF is helping me out is neat since I eat there all the time. Now I do not have to toss the carbs the carbs or most of them will already be tossed. Ha Ha Ha.
I love the animation, it is a very clever use of the smilies. I am also trying to lose a few pounds this year, so far I have only lost 6, but it is 6 less than I started with.
