Stopped into TGI Fridays just around the block from where I live for a quick bite to eat tonight . Wow was I surprised to find that TFIF has partnered with the Atkins diet folks and are offering low carb meals .

It only took a moment to select Ice Tea, dip and Salmon for my evening meal.
The Tuscan Spinach Dip was great. (Atkins Net Carbs: 17) Parmesan and Romano cheeses blended with spinach, artichokes, sautéed onions and peppers. Served with fresh vegetables, because tortilla chips are a no-no.

The Chargrilled Salmon Fillet was also fantastic. (Atkins Net Carbs: 6)
Topped with capers and served with a tangy lemon sauce. See, there is more to life than just bread

Started my new food plan on 7 December 2003 at the fun weight of 288 pounds. Today I am at 278 pounds. Go figure. I have no idea where the weight has gone in only one week.
It is still hard for others to tell I have lost weight since I do not think I look any different.
My goal is not to loose weight but to loose the double chin, get my waist back down to a 40 by moving my stomach back up into my chest where it use to be.
