Ivy Cemetery & Easter View

Keep Smiling and Having Fun because These Are The Good Old Days

Walked on King Street today

Took a detour into the Ivey Cemetery

The Ivey Cemetry looks small from King Street but continues on into the trees and down the hill out of site

Once at the back side of the Ivey Cemetery I walked into the 100 year old homes of old

Yep, there they were hidden in trees and lost to all but those who now live in them

Made my way to the Alexandria Train Station

Arrived there just as a Virginia Rail Train arrived

Whisle and all

Glanced at the Washington Memorial Monument

View from the Memorial towards Alexandria Train Station and the River

Walked from the train station and the Monument up King Street

More 100 year old homes on both sides of the road

Checked out Easter View on the right which is also 100+

Must have been 98 in the shade today

Had my hat so I enjoyed the walk

Made my way back to the Baptist Church where I park

Checked out the D.C. border monument of 1787 located in the church parking lot

Not a bad walk for just being out One Hour

Your walks are much more scenic than mine; and historical. I usually only see a few animals, bikers and other runners. I hope never to see a snake. *smile*
