Depression Once Again
Depression seems to be a running theme for a lot of us on OD these days.
Depression is not a fun thing.
We all get hit by it, but we can survive it, not sure how, but we can and do.
My faith in family and life has helped me through the dark shadows of depression many times.
My life has had me singing and playing the blues quite often!
No matter what our job
…all the smiley faces make me want to kill things.

As you [may] know, I constantly battle depression. I think it’s a sign of growth/healing when you recognize that it is depression and not just sadness. I hope it’s some comfort to know you’re not alone as you struggle with depression. Continue to rely on family and faith to help you “through.” It ain’t easy but you/we can do it. 🙂

I get frustrated (arm) more than depressed…there are worse things that life could put before me than that.

(((Hugs))) depression is not fun. I know that firsthand also!

Ok, Ok, so now you all will have to share how you control depression. I just ignore it but that does not always work. Just ask some of my former friends, those who got to experience my wrath or seclusion….

Smiley faces are not supposed to make anyone want to kill anything, guess we all have different triggers for our depression. Smiling.

The smiley faces are for those of you out there like me who are visual learners. Those of you who do not need the visual, just pretend the smiley faces are not there. Smiling [JournalThoughts]

Sure hope your feeling better soon. Its amazing how we survive it. Family and faith in life–good.

Depression certainly is real. Helps to have friends who let me know when I seem continually depressed. Survival depends for me on friends and me convincing myself that I deserve to not feel depressed. All my best,

I’ve suffered from depression for most of my life and have found that, at least for me, medication is not the answer. When I’m on antidepressants, I don’t feel ANYTHING. I’d rather be able to fee the depression and be able to do something about it. What helps for me is just making myself get out of the house and exercise and do stuff with the kids. Nobody stays depressed long around my son! 😀
