Drink the water.

Just got home from driving in the rain. It was a different experience. My shoes are ruined, I think, they were half filled with water, and I prayed (or at least just asked for safety and drove slowly, especially around curves). Near the end it stopped raining, and the whole world became a calm.

Whence I got home, I got a call from Kyle telling me that he was “tripping balls” and that him and his friends had figured out that God was a frog. (He was at the beach. I feel like I was too, actually.) I had a nice time at Sarah’s. I like her smell, I like her moves. 🙂

Sometimes — lately because I’m calm a lot, not much effects me right now (less to write about, too) — I don’t have many feelings, but tonight I did. Tonight I loved Sarah. Tonight I felt pricks of rain consistently hitting me everywhere. When the rain stopped, what I meant by it “becoming a calm” I could actually hear it all. I heard you sleeping, I heard you laughing, I heard the air cuddling with me.

I was hoping it would talk to me, but of course it didn’t. That’s okay though, mystery keeps relationships alive.

I bet they’re running on the beach against the wind, or they’re just staring at the sand. (And it’s moving.) I’m moving in about a week. That should be some sort of experience. I’m moving in with three guys, and I have my own bathroom.

The Lord is like sea water to me, and I am a small beach, I make up a part of all beaches, but I am small, and he washes up on me.

And then back.

It feels so good, it’s soothing. Like a rocking chair, I believe. I think maybe, people talk about (and I agree) when you’re really down, when you’re rock bottom, that’s when it’s like God’s not there. C.S. Lewis wrote that really you’re just not really listening. He also talks about how those points when you’re at your weakest He uses to call your name.

When a tidal wave is about to hit, it recedes for miles, yeah? Sarah says that. “yeah?” at the end of sentences. She’s a beautiful beach, and you know it.

Well I guess that’s all.

“And God said, “Ribbit,” and there was light.”

Hey you! I should have had water last night! Haha. What a bad night. I love reading your diary. You’re so poetic Mr. Strong. We must hang soon! Love always,

I have been reading your last few entries and I have to say you inspire me, so I would like to give you a little inspiration. Read Neitsche if you haven’t already, I believe you would find his inquiries on the origin of the words “good” and “bad.” Seems right up your alley. I can’t seem to remember the title of this particular article but put Neitsche on shuffle and you will like any of it.
