When you said check your email I half expected to get a hundred emails from porn sites saying “thanks for joining!”

Yeah, so. But I was happy to see your name.

Regarding my problem with you. I guess I always felt a little need to be accepted by you. And when I tried too hard I got annoyed.

(Partly that and it’s hard to butt heads with you and win. But at least I tried. A few times.)

Number One: I think Magnolia is still a better film. But PDL is definetly my favorite, if I had to choose.

Number Two: I love “Something Is Wrong”, So Much.

Number Three: “I don’t like myself sometimes.”

And we stopped talking because of the accident. I think. Disagreements, etc, which I think was kinda stupid.

(Also you stopped working at Hollywood, which was our social time, if you will.)

(And we had already gone away from eachother by then.)

It was a lot of fun, being your friend. I have good memories of you. Beauty and the Beast, talking back to Moriah.

But there’s also the fights with me. I still have those in my mind. (Which doesn’t really effect anything. The good goes with the bad. And so Jon went with Nick. Or is that backwards.)

Number Four: “I need to get away from Earth for a while.”

I actually feel a little special. You didn’t ever write Joey a letter like this, after his huge “sorry”. I Should feel special.

(Or maybe you Did email him, With me. Hmm.)

I learned from you. You could be a real nice guy or a fucking asshole, but I had fun none the less. (I say that smiling. You know, remember the “mmm”. That kinda smile.)

Oh and Nick: have no regrets. Didn’t you hear? I’m moving up to New York, New York next summer. Maybe we’ll make our film then. And if not, we can always argue whenever you like.
