11 years

Welcome to the 11th anniversary of me boring the world thru OD!  It’s been an interesting ride during those 11 years with me going through my ups and downs.  Many of my favorites over the years have come and gone and new favs have been found and all have been good.  I’ve been lucky in some ways, I haven’t lost any entries during any of the hacking attacks.  But I did lose over 2 years of notes so there is a bit of history that is missing along with most of the people who left those notes.  Well here’s to 11 years of change and hopefully growth.

This week we’re on vacation and doing day trips for the most part with a little work thrown in on essential stuff.  Monday we started the day by cleaning out the garage and getting stuff ready for a yard sale this Saturday and then in the afternoon went to Ikea to look at bunk beds for Ella.  They have a real nice one but it’s only a twin over twin and we really want the twin over full.  But I’m not really sure that will fall into our budget.

Yesterday we went to The Crayola Factory which is only about 45 minutes from our place.  Best thing was I had found a deal for half off tickets so it was cheap day.  It’s not actually at the factory but they do show actually making crayons and markers plus lots of chance to color and all.  Over all it was fun and worth the trip for anyone with kids who will be in the area of Easton, PA.

When we got home last night there was a message on the phone that we had won a contest and so have tickers to go see Curious George live this weekend.  So looking at the show times we’re going to end up cutting the yard sale a little short and go Saturday afternoon.  I love it cheap and fun and Ella should have a blast!
