This is one of my favorite times of the day, early morning the house is still and I have a little time to just kick back and relax before the day beats me up.  Of course I’ve got to work today and it’s not something I really feel into today since it’s been so slow for the last month.

Yesterday I had to take Ella to the doctors to get checked out since she’s been having trouble again with nose bleeds.  It was interesting to see Ella’s reaction to the doctors office, going into the building she was skipping and just carefree.  As soon as we went in the door her whole mood changed and she started hiding behind my leg and was real shy.

Well the doctor ordered a blood test and a bleeding time test so we headed off to the lab at the nearby hospital.  Now Ella really hates needles and it was not fun.  I ended up having to grab her and hold her tight while they took blood.  Then came the bleeding time test in which they prick you and see how long it takes to stop bleeding.  Ella stopped bleeding almost right away so there might not be a major issue.  We just have to wait to see what comes back from the test and figure out where to go from there.
