Ella and I are getting to spend way too much time together of late. In the last 3 weeks she’s had 1 vacation day, 4 snow days and 1 sick day. Heck she’s been out of school almost as much as in it seems mostly since the weather has been so lovely.

This last storm was ice which is just nasty to clean up since you have to chip and chisel it before cleaning. But the previous storm was about 14 inches of heavy wet snow and of course my snow blower ended up with a flat tire that totally came off the rim and needed to be replaced. Which meant no blower and I had to work my butt off. But the thing that really pissed me off was that after I had cleared the driveway the road crews came and replowed the street and closed up the driveway with nice knee high wall of snow. To my point of view it was vandalism pure and simple and I did complain, politely, to the township and got a response that basically said tough cookies we will do what ever we want.

Speaking of Ella getting sick it sadly ended a 4 or so year streak of her not throwing up. The real downside was it happened at night and her first impulse was come and get mommy and daddy instead of knowing to find a trash can or the potty. I actually heard her and started out to the hallway to see what was happening and stepped right into the mess.

Got a kick out of a sign in the window of the Hair Cuttery, it was special for men for color camo.  Yeah that will really hide that fact that it’s a regular hair coloring.  Or do they real make it a camo patteren?
