Up with the alarm at 6:30 am. Red got out. He’s somehow opened the gate. Went to see my new doctor in Yungaburra, then to the Gillies Cafe for breakfast. Then went straight home to prep the lamb shanks. Had to go back out to get an onion and picked up half a kilo of prawns for lunch as well. Came back and started cooking the lamb shanks in the slow cooker.

Went out to Bunnings for a gate latch and some spray paint, then the post office, reject shop, and the BV bottle shop for some wine. Came hom and had prawns for lunch then tried to fix the front gate but one of the screws snapped off in the post, then Chris came over to mow the grass, so I abandoned that job. Went to the pub instead. Came back and started spraying primer on the seat legs.

The lamb shanks turned out perfect.
