Song Paintings

Song Paintings at the Dogs Bar was a blast. There was a good turnout and everyone had a fun time. I had friends and family there and I was very glad to have Jack and Hanna there. The paintings turned out a treat. The Wind Cries Mary looked very good and even stood out a bit for having more curved lines than ones that were compared to tweed at one point. No-one from work came but then I never expecting any of them to come. Claudia’s friend Deanne came and brought her friend Sue. Deanne said she would like to buy a painting after her and Ugi have moved. I will have to ring Kerrie tomorrow to make sure she is alright after her and Martin bought FIVE paintings. I better give them a cooling off period. I was asked a few times what I would be doing next and it took a while to realise my plans were all about today, other than perhaps showing the larger paintings at Bright I haven’t got the next idea sorted out. I know I would like to show Time Paintings, I just don’t know where or when.

Jennifer told me off for the illegible font I used on the title notices, which was a fair call. I guess it was more a screen font as it looked good on the monitor.

Mary visits Clara in Washington next month.
