Rye 2011

Back from a couple of nights at a house we rented in Rye while Claudia’s mum is visiting us from Perth. It was lovely, the weather was kind and the food excellent. My only complaint against the house was that it was kind of stuck in shack suburbia, somewhat back from the beach, you needed to drive to get places, not walk. That said I think we would love to go again, I think next September / October we will be back. The thermal baths were great.

Talking of cars we take delivery of a new second hand car tomorrow. I hope it goes as well as my last car which I sold to Andrew and that we have it for the next ten years.

All rocking along nicely, I have just drunk I nice shiraz called Perdu. Hope I don’t forget!
