TURKEY DAY!!! :-D

TURKEY DAY!! YAY!!! This morning I had to be at school by 8am for a bus to go to the annual Thanksgiving Day game. I actually had hopes of winning, especially after one of the ex-coaches speech at the bonfire… “This is for the bragging rights at Zern’s!!” But our team lately has been falling apart, and we realized quickly that we stood almost no chance of winning.

But we managed to have fun anyway. We did the kickline, “and we’re marching” and various band dances for the last time. We even did a special “goodbye” cheer from the senior cheerleaders. *tear*

“We are the seniors
of U P H S
We’d like to say goodbye to you
This year was the best!”

The final score was 41-7… we were massacred, smashed into the ground, pulverized, mutilated, destroyed, turned into hundreds of pixels, blown up with a supernova bomb…

At any rate, in honor of the holiday, I’d like to list a few things that I’m thankful for:

• Family
• Friends
• Health
• Sanity (that’s debatable)
• A stove that works (last year our’s broke the night before T-day)
• Turkey on the grill
• Living in a “free” country
• Home
• Food
