that time again: Year in Review ’07
2006
2005
Rules: take the first sentence (or two) from the first entry of each month this past year. That’s your year in review!
January 2: quasi-random thought
(directed at someone who will probably never read this).
It’s all fine and dandy if you say you want to settle down, but that doesn’t mean jack shit if you haven’t found the right person to settle down with.
February 1: simpler days
Its funny how graduating from high school near-instantaneously changes our views on relationships. Or maybe it’s not the graduating that is key, but the subsequent going off to college.
March 6: baby, baby, stick your head in gravy
My sister went to the hospital saturday evening. They checked her for dilation and effacement, and she is 3cm dilated, and 75% effaced.
April 14: my roommate’s still isleeping
She went to bed before 10 last night. It is now after 11am, and she’s still sleeping.
May 5: mer +boy pic (the actual first entry of may is now private.)
Mer. I hate when I write partially or wholly self-analytical entries that come out sounding way more depressed or… what’s the word i’m looking for… obsessed? not quite… than I actually am.
June 4: i just need a frickin job
I swear I’m gonna lose my mind if I don’t get a job soon.
July 1:”hey, funny story!” temporarily misdirected
One of my cousins had a barbeque party yesterday.
August 21: I came home to a flood today (another month where the actual first entry of the month is now private)
but i really don’t feel like writing. this is all you get.
September 1: am I being unreasonable? (still FO.)
I haven’t written much about my relationship with Randy at all, and so for that reason, I’m keeping this entry FO for the time being. Not that I ever need to give a reasoning for making anything FO.
October 2: four-point-oh
actual exchanges from english class this past semester:
November 1: NaNoWriMo
Finally doing it this time, after saying i’m going to do it for the last two years.
December 3: think before you leap (another FO)
I haven’t written because lately I’ve been feeling more and more like I ought to keep the nitty gritty details of me and Randy between just me and Randy.
so it seems that in this past year I’ve written a lot more private and favorites only entries. I don’t know if it was that I dealt with a lot more very private and very personal issues, or if I’m just becoming a more private person as I grow older. Either way, this year saw many MAJOR changes for me, and I’m looking forward to 2008!
