ouch.
For starters, if you haven’t read it yet, you should read this… especially if you have an Open Diary. I know I can’t afford a lifetime subscription, but it’s only $12 for six months, and I guess at this point, every little bit helps. Plus, no ads will be nice. They’ve even been getting through my pop-up blocker lately.
I woke up this morning in so much pain that I wanted to cry. Except I knew that if i began to cry, it would hurt even more. My throat, that is. The pain extends to my ears as well, but according to the doctor (who I decided to see today) there’s nothing wrong with my ears. But she prescribed penicillin for me, and took a culture to test for strep, which I should find out about in a couple of days.
In bizzarre news, I was drinking a glass of iced tea today, while sitting at my desk. I picked the glass up, took a sip, and set it back down. A moment later, the glass totally shattered. Weirdest. Thing. Ever. I mean, i know that can happen with rapid temperature changes, but the glass had been sitting on the desk for more than 10 minutes or so, with me periodically taking sips from it. Can somebody please explain to me how this possibly could have happened? (No, I did not slam the glass down, and no there were not any pre-existing cracks.)
Umm, in interesting/fun news, I finally understand a subject! woo hoo. Econ is incredibly easy (thus far)… everything’s just clicking in place… it just makes sense to me. Which is more than I can say for the other five people in my section, who must’ve each asked the same question twice within the class period. There was only one thing I found a little confusing, but that was because the TA did it a *completely* different way than the prof.
Anywho, I guess I’m gonna go lay down now, because when you’re sleeping nothing hurts because you can’t think about the pain.

Random noter: Yeah, I agree. I paid for a subscription last year, the no ads is a major bonus…I don’t want OD to go away!

If you want an extra Pop-up Blocker, get the Google toolbar. I only ever get one or two things that pass through it while I’m on here. But, since your a Plus-er now, I don’t think it’ll matter much on here. As for the glass… I haven’t the foggiest idea. It’s very strange. Robert

That’s very strange. The only things I know of that could make something shatter is rapid temperature change or pressure change… but just sitting there? Maybe you have a ghost that came along and broke it? I hope you feel better soon! (of course this note is a couple of days after you wrote this entry – therefore I hope you already feel better, if not I hope you feel better soon)
