…also known as the contents of my purse; today’s NoJoMo theme

Now this wasn’t as easy for me as it might’ve been for anyone else. For one, I don’t carry a purse on a day-to-day basis, as it’s much easier to shove my wallet, keys and cell into my back pack. Also, whenever I go out, I grab whichever purse is closest, and I have three that I use somewhat regularly:

Last time I used this purse, was over the weekend when I went to the mall. Hence all the makeup. In this purse (from left to right… vaguely) there were two pens, a receipt from work marking how many hours i worked, a quarter, carefully placed on the reciept so as to obscure my last name, a thing of blush, a tube of lipstick, an empty gum wrapper, an eyeshadow brush, a thing of “liquid lipcolor”, mascara, eyeliner, my compact, large brush for applying powder, small thing of loose white eyeshadow, and a concealer stick.

This purse i last used to take with me to work, which might account for the three dollars in change. From left to right, a pen, necklace, crapload of change, and bobby pins. Relatively empty, but once there’s a wallet and a phone in there, there’s not much room for anything else.

this purse is almost officially my “groceryshopping” purse. I last used it… grocery shopping. go figure. Left to right… an old shopping list, pen, tweezers, postit notepad, some keychain thing, crumpled receipts and gum wrappers (two of which have chewed gum in them), a book of stamps, two books of matches, and more loose change.

But on a daily basis, this is what i carry. My cell phone, and my wallet, which has inside of it the following contents: my license and renewal card, school id, Giant club card, movie stub from Borat, more loose change, two credit cards, my check card, and the access pass to get into my building. Attached to the wallet are my room key and my mail key, as well as a miniature version of my Giant card, and my mini SuperFresh card.

I almost forgot that I have an appointment tomorrow. I don’t even know what I’m going to tell this person. I’ve never been to a counsellor/therapist before. What am I supposed to say? Right now I’m not even close to the same mood that prompted me to set up the appointment to begin with. If he/she asks why I’m there… what am I going to say??
