Q– what the hell is a pocky?
what flavor pocky are you?
[c] sugardew
A– allegedly some kind of japanese snack food… like a cracker of sorts.. which has been dipped in any one of various sauces… allegedly i’m strawberry… hmm interesting
did you know that if you dip twizzlers in pepsi, it’ll fizzle?
did you know that if you accidently drop a whole twizzler into a full bottle of pepsi, it’ll fizzle over uncontrollably, and you’ll have to move the bottle away from your laptop so as not to ruin it?
did you know that if you capped the bottle to stop the fizzling, and open it again 3 hours later, it’ll fizzle a little bit more (but not that much)?
did you know that if you then drink said pepsi, it’ll taste a little bit like strawberry?
i think i just invented wild strawberry pepsi…. must get more twizzlers…..
it is 12:23 am
i should be writing my chem lab report
correction: i should have written it over vacation
its hard to get a free moment to oneself when one is babysitting a 4-yr-old and a 1.5yr-old
everytime i say that it sounds like i’m complaining, but i’m really not… i’d rather be there, doing that then here doing this…. ‘here’ being school, and ‘this’ as just simply being here…
i’ve recently come to a surprising realization… this realization actually came before spring break, but while babysitting over break, the realization was confirmed even more
i used to think that my life plan was completely career oriented… you know, get a degree, get a good job, get another degree, and probably another, *then* start a family…. but i’ve realized that my life plan is more family-oriented than i previously beleived… sure i wanna get a degree and get a good job… but my ultimate goal is to get married and have a family– i think i could even live with a mildly decent job that isn’t necessarily that great as long as i can have my family… and i realized that with even more certainty seeing my little baby cousin laugh and play… even the crying and the changing diapers wasnt that bad… something about being around a baby just brought out all my maternal instincts… i mean, obviously i’m not looking to get married and start a family right *now* for chrissake, i’m still a kid myself!…. but i’ve been thinking that maybe part of the reason i’m still relatively undecided about what i wanna do when i graduate is because it really doesn’t matter that much to me in the grand scheme of things… of course i’m not the first college student to consider changing thier major… in fact statistically, any student that sticks with their major all four years–freshman to graduation– is in the minority…. but basically what i’m saying is “when i grow up i wanna be a mommy” … not an engineer, not a teacher, not a doctor or a lawyer, not a diplomat or an accountant… just a wife and a mommy… *sigh*
subject change: i really need to write my chem lab report, and i’m thinking that i should have dropped chem. but now it is a week too late… i could have dropped chem without a “W” on my transcript a week ago… but now its too late *sigh* i really need to get my shit together
did you know that the strawberry twizzler that you dropped in the pepsi will lose all its flavor and become spongelike? if you try to eat it, you will be disgusted
it is now 2:22 am… i have spent my time on this site here trying to find an actor that is more than 2 degrees of seperation from kevin bacon… so far i’ve found one.. Mark Hird was in “ice princess” with kim catrall, who was in “15 minutes” with david alan grier, who was in “the woodsman” with kevin bacon… thus 3 degrees of separation between mark hird and kevin bacon… my ultimate goal is to find at least one of the two people who are seperated from bacon by 8 degrees of separation… but that requires finding more obscure actors… unfortunately, being me, as i am, not a huge follower of indie cult films, i only know big name actors… finding that guy mark hird (who, btw, i have never heard of) required a bit of research on http://www.imdb.com… i tested actors from the few indie movies i know of… “pi” which i thought was a relatively obscure movie, with no one *i’ve* ever heard of in it, had a lot of actors that were also in a more popular movie made by the same director, “requiem for a dream” … and heather litteer was in that movie, and also in “in the cut” with kevin bacon… even these people who are no-names, and only get parts as extras in movies are pretty closely tied to bacon… like this guy ray seiden who played the “transit cop” in “pi” played a “sanitation worker” in “Kate & Leopold” with meg ryan, who was also in “in the cut” with bacon… you have to find a person who was in literally only one movie that only had one other actor in it to find one who’s far seperated from bacon…geez…. i wanna try dead people, but i cant find anyone thats been dead long enough to have a decent degree of seperation… all the ones i can think of died in the 70s or 80s…. *sigh*
it is now 2:49 am…. i still have not yet even *started my lab report…. this is not good… i need to stop procrastinating now…. lets unplug the internet shall we? *bites lip* its gonna be hard, but lets try…
*goes out to buy twizzlers and pepsi* I have to try that. 🙂 Pocky is in fact a Japanese biscut candy. Strawberry is definitely the best, but Chocolate is good too. It’s pretty hard to find, but we have a Japanese grocery store nearby and we get it there. It’s really good… you should try it sometime. I highly recommend it.
