let us not forget

Open diary has been quite sporadic in its connections lately. Last week a friend mentioned this, and although I had not been witness to any of the down times, I took his advice and backed up my diary.
Today Open Diary was down for at least 5 hours that I know of (two the first time, and 3 the second time). In light of this, I’m passing on the message. Let us not forget what happened nearly a year ago, when so many diaries and entries were lost forever in the hacker attack.
