And yet, by now, you would think that I would learn not to read after dark. When one reads after dark, the dark has this nasty habit of growing shadows where there were none before, and the world grows wavy and somehow not-quite-real, even if and when the book itself is benign, although considerably moreso if it is not. I am so with you there. I am currently reading the 11th book in the Wheel of Time series. Sadly, Robert Jordan, the author, died. The 12th and final book may not be written. It is all down in voice and written notes. Now, a brave family member or friend must write in his footsteps and try to complete one of the greatest sagas and the longest book ever written.

I did that too! I loved to read when I was a kid! Now I barely have time but I did just start a new book.
