i’m glad you didn’t say “good” morning

copied and pasted from an IM because I don’t feel like retyping.

its been a long day. i’ve only been awake two hours, and its already been a long freakin day
i woke to my advisor from the art institute calling me to see if i’d sent back the forms that i needed to send back yet
i said, no, i hadn’t gotten to it because i’d been busy, but i’d go to the post office today and overnight them
so i go to the post office
and they won’t take my credit card (any of the three that i have) because they all say “Ask For ID” on the back–they aren’t signed
so i have to use my debit card
which is turned down because of insufficient funds
i’m like.. wtf, i just deposited a paycheck
so the guy says he’ll hold it for me, while i run to the bank
i go to the bank and they’re like… since it was a check, and it was deposited after 3pm on friday, it was already on monday (today’s) date, and won’t be posted until tomorrow
so i run into walmart, since my sister works there to ask her if i can borrow $20
she’s not there, so i call her
she’s at home, sick
and doesn’t have any cash
but she says i can borrow her debit card and get $20 out on that
so i start to drive over there (the complete other side of town, btw)
and my phone rings again
and it’s the financial aid officer from the art institute
who, by the way, has a very non-american accent
so i struggled to understand her
but she’s asking me if i called to apply for the loan that i’m sending back the papers for
and i’m just like… i didn’t know i was supposed to call anyone??
i’ve had these papers for like two weeks just sitting on them and i was supposed to CALL SOMEONE?????
so i’m trying to write down a 1-800 number while driving
it snowed yesterday, so every time i get in and out of my car, my shoes and bottoms of my pants are getting soaked
because i thought all i had to do was go to the post office!!!!
so i wore weather-innappropriate shoes
and now my feet are cold
and my jeans are wet
and i’m pissed off
and hungry
*sigh*
the end.
