hooray for boobies, bruises, and other things

My bras came in the mail today. Yayness! except… this is gonna sound crazy but… I feel like they’re still too small? The band size is definitely right, but I still feel like I’m spilling over the tops of the cups… oy. Right now I have a major headache though, and even though I spent $50 each on the two bras, I don’t care enough to try to send them back. Especially since I did order the correct size. I wouldn’t even know what size to try instead. Next size up, maybe.. but I know in stores sometimes I try something that’s a little too small and the next size up is WAAAAYY too big, so I stick with “a little small.”

Anyways, I also got my antenna (finally) today. FedEx sucks by the way. Don’t ever ship things via FedEx unless you really don’t care when they get there. Although, that wasn’t really my choice, it was just the company that RadioShack used to ship.

The other night at cheerleading practice made me so so so soooooo incredibly glad that I’d decided to do cheerleading again. I’d almost forgotten how it feels to get that stunt just right. Or to wake up with bruises *grins.* Yes, I wear my bruises like battle scars. I don’t bruise very easily, so when I do get bruised it’s like Sweet! cool! I actually did something that HURT. No pain, no gain, baby. I took pictures, because I knew that the bruises wouldn’t last long, and even so, some were difficult to see. The pics don’t even do them justice, hence why the bruised spot is circled in red. Click on pics for larger versions.

left inside upper arm. The purplest bruise by far. When Josiah saw it, he thought he did it. *giggles* adorable.

The damage is skewed to my left side because of the way I was positioned to throw and catch the girls. Nonetheless, still very coolness. 🙂

So do you all remember that cushy office job I’ve always wanted? answering phones and playing on the computer in my spare time? well… I got it Yesterday, I had an interview with the Office of Recreation (the school gym, essentially) for an office assistant position. I was hired pretty much on the spot, and I actually had my first day this morning (Needless to say, I won’t be going back to the bookstore after this one temp week.) It’s only minimum wage, but she worked right around my schedule (which the bookstore didn’t really seem interested in doing). I’ll still work nights at Xando’s, but I did change my availability there so that I’m not working so much on school nights (not that I really was anyway, but with having cheer practice on monday and wednesday, if I get scheduled on tuesday, it makes it a little overwhelming.)

Anyway that’s all for now. I’m still alive (heh, barely).
