everybody’s doing it

Did you ever {over}hear someone having a conversation, and they were wondering something that you knew the answer to, and all you wanted to do was say “Excuse me but, I couldn’t help overhearing…” and then answer their question, but for some reason couldn’t bring yourself to do it?

Walking to Video Americain to return the DVD’s rented on Saturday. A girl on her cell phone outside of Xando’s. “Yea it’s the weirdest thing,” she was saying, “apparently there’s no seating. Isn’t it a Monday?”

What she apparently did not know, what I wanted to tell her; Monday is Poetry Slam night. The entire basement is filled with poet, aspiring poets, and friends of poets from about 7:30pm til the end of the night, so the only real seating is upstairs. And since today was chilly and drizzly, there was no outdoor seating. On Mondays, that leaves about 10 viable tables. But I said nothing.

Today in the mail I recieved the DVD of the second part of House (thanks again Moo!). Is it just me, or did the ending not make sense to anybody else either? I won’t spoil it, because I know at least one of my friends hasn’t seen it yet, and is going to in short fashion 🙂

Also in the mail today I recieved a copy of Weight Watchers “Getting Started” booklet.(thanks wisa!!) A lot of my friends (also known as most of you) have begun weight loss/healthy living regimins, so I’m attempting to follow the trend, because it is definately a good trend to be following :-). By the time I checked my mail today, however, I had already consumed half a bag of mini- Reese’s cups. Oops. So tomorrow I shall start, and tonight shall be devoted to reading the entire booklet. Hooray.
