epic fail

Things that I keep meaning to write about in some form or another but inevitably fail.

  • Randy and I had our 1 year anniversary last thursday 🙂 He bought me a bouquet of my favorite flowers (Gerbera Daisies) and a card so sweet it made me tear up 🙂
  • I’ve read quite a number of books in the last few months including: I Am America and So Can You, Crash (recently made into a major motion picture which was nominated for several Oscars), Kitchen Confidential, Eat, Pray, Love, Atlas Shrugged, Lisey’s Story, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and I’m currently in the process of reading 1491: New Revelations of the Americas before Columbus. My one-word reviews of them, in order: Bad, Good, Good, Good, Excellent, Good, Excellent, Good. Although one word can’t really sum up any of them–more elaboration is required, and I had originally intended writing full reviews of them all, but barring that, this is what you get.
  • My school decided to cancel the Culinary Arts program, due to a variety of issues that most basically amounted to not enough money and increasing rents. I had a long entry about this planned out too, but again, it just didn’t happen.
  • I’m pretty sure I didn’t tell any of y’all… I removed my eyebrow ring about two months ago.
  • My niece turned 1 year old last month. holy crap!
  • My dog Punkin died last month 🙁 I still need to make a tribute entry for her like I did for my dog MacGyver when he died two years ago

thats all for now.

I’m sorry to hear about Punkin 🙁

I don’t know if I’d bother renting it. Take Borat, for example. Great in the theatres. But not a rentable movie. Man, I remember when movies were four dollars a ticket or less.

Hi, Jennifer! Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog: it was getting lonely in there. Sorry to hear about “Punkin”. Anyway, reading and writing are fun, so I’ll be back for more of both. Cheers! John http://infomercialjoy.com/InfoJoyBlog/
