double-booked

Have I perhaps bitten off more than I can chew? Hmm, we shall see.

The interview the other day went really well. Except when I found out that the position was only a temporary position. See our campus bookstore is moving locations, and they need a bunch of extra help with the move. Okay fine, so it’ll be like a week or so. This is good for two reasons. A)I’ll have an extra $100 bucks or so to supplement my xando’s income for a week. Yay. and B)I’ll get to test myself to see if I can really handle having two jobs.

But now we have another tiny problem. This saturday, I was scheduled to work at Xando’s from 8 to close. The girl that was working 4-8 couldn’t do it, for some reason, so I took her shift too, cuz lord knows I can use the money. Now, however, I’m also scheduled to work at the bookstore from 1-5. Oh boy… an overlapping hour… fun. Heh… the guy that interviewed me said that it was okay if I couldn’t work all 4 hours of any given shift though, he was just really strict on start times. Second part of tiny problem comes in on monday and tuesday when I’m scheduled to work from 9am-1pm, but I have class from 11-12.

This is gonna be fun.
