all hail the mighty nyquil!
Umm soooo… i’m like sick. It sucks. Especially when I spent two nights in a row up til 3am doing homework and/or obsessing over hewhoshallnotbenamed. But last night I took nyquil and got THE BEST night of sleep I could ever have dreamed of. NYQUIL IS GOD. I actually woke up this morning feeling alive and ready to face the day! (Well at least until my first class was over and I went back to sleep until my next one.)
I got a call from Xando’s yesterday, and have an interview with them tomorrow. (Its a coffee shop chain, affiliated with Cosi, for those of you that haven’t heard of it… actually you may not have heard of Cosi either.Neither did I til last year. I think it’s a New York thing). It actually *le gasp* isn’t the first place I applied to. The first place I applied to (also a coffee shop, but privately owned) hasn’t called me at all yet. I know! I’m really glad that y’all convinced me to go back out and fill out more apps last weekend. Wish me luck on my interview tomorrow. If I do well, I’m gonna have to treat myself to some shopping (since i’ll have to buy something to wear there anyway b/c I would need black shirts and black pants, which they don’t provide). Credit card limit, here I come! (just kidding. 😛 sort of.)
Anywho, what else is new? Oh yea! I fell flat on my face yesterday. It was pretty damn funny. Had it not been me, I would have laughed. Oh wait, I did laugh. Right after I finished saying #$@^%$$*^$#@!^&^$#@#$@!&* Nobody saw me fall, but I got funny looks on my way back to my apartment. I realized when I got there that my knee was bleeding. (I had been wearing a skirt) and there was dirt on my shoulder. (white shirt) But there was blood! Ha, you’d think I’d never seen blood before. It was such a pretty color though. My knee now… not so pretty… and it hurts a bit… I think I should get some neosporin so it doesn’t get infected/scar, but I don’t care *that* much.
here’s a piccy-ture… its actually worse than the pic makes it look, believe it or not.
I told Justin about it:
me: i fell down today, it was not fun
justin: how?
me: i was walking along the path between the two parts of the sculpture garden by the art museum
me: and i wasn’t watching where i was going
me: and stepped off the path
me: and *boom*
me: skinned my knee pretty bad, cuz i was wearing a skirt
me: it hurts *le pout*
justin: 🙁
justin: sounds like it needs kisses
*giggles girlishly* I’m in a silly mood. I think it’s the nyquil talking. Oh wait, I didn’t take any yet today… maybe I should! =-o Is it just me or does it look like there’s something wrong with that word… should… yea, it looks funny. Maybe it’s a by-product of *too much* sleep? Except I really only got like 7 hours, and I’m still technically sleep-deprived from the other two nights. Don’t let me forget that I have to be at Xando’s by 11am tomorrow.
Omigosh this picture is taking forEVer to upload to photobucket… i forgot that I had my camera set on Hi-Res for when I was taking pics of my drawings the other day. oopsies *waits* Except you don’t really get the concept of the waiting because *technically* you already saw it. As far as you’re concerned its already posted. See? Up there^^ except not really for me, because it’s not there yet. *waits s’mores* It was 2MB to begin with, and they auto-resize it to 512KB, and its still *HUGE* heh. *still waiting*
oh! there it is! yay! (only 5 minutes after I started uploading) Can you believe some people still use dialup? can you *imagine* how long that would have taken with dial up?? Jeebus. Although I think it was mostly photobucket’s fault. They’re running abnormally slow. In any case, I’m done my nonsensical babble for the moment. That is all. Carry on. 🙂

I love NyQuil. I love the name alone. Capital ‘N’ small ‘y’ BIG F***ING ‘Q’! You get drunk and stare at it; “The Q is talking to me! THE Q IS TALKING TO ME!” Thank you, Denis Leary. Robert
