Thank You

Thank you everyone for your Prayers and kind thoughts.

I am back home now but may be returning to WVA by the end of the week. My friend needs to get to work so I if things do not improve for Toni I will go and stay with her while her Mom works.

The hospital is so nice and will also set me up with a bed, blankets ect… even if I have to sleep in another room.

When A-girl said goodbye Toni was trying so hard to pucker her lips and kiss her. She didn’t do that with anyone else. A-girl held it together until we left the room.

I sat with my friend while we asked the doctor the hard questions like will she make it. He was slow to talk and of course can’t promise anything but he told us he thinks she can pull through this but it will be a long hard climb out of it. He told us she will be in the hospital at least a month to 6 six weeks if all goes good. He also said she can not handle too many more set backs.

I couldn’t stand that they have her tied down though I understand why because she wants to pull that tube out of her mouth. She has 63 things hooked up to her at this point. Anyway, she was alert and I was trying to understand her and asked her if I untie you so that maybe you can write, will you not pull on stuff? She nodded in agreement and though it ended up she could not write it was still good because she did not pull at that time anyway. She has no idea of how long she has been there and did not realize she had a birthday. She just kept telling me she wanted to go home.

Anyway, the prayers have done her well and please keep them coming.

Thank you again, and I hope to soon catch up with you all…. Ugh, I have come down with a cold.
