It was scary!

This is very lonnggggg. It was so scary!

She had a cornea transplant yesterday morning. Was advised of what eye drops to use, get sleep and come to the office the next morning. She complained of a headache whenever she did get up. I had her take pain meds right away. This would be her third one in just 24 hours, so not bad. One the way there she mentioned her hands felt tingling. Part way thru the appt. we were sitting and she said she felt like she had a gas pain in the middle of her chest. She does not complain so I knew something was up and then she starts sweating. I go to call 911 (I thought I had forgot my cell) and happened to hear them call her and explained. By now she is dizzy. In a moment or so she was able to get into an exam room and sit in a chair. She was speaking with us but clearing very ill. The doc mentions he has nitro (why?)and asked if I thought he should give her one. Yes! So he did. Help arrived and they were attending to her, asking questions and such. I was looking at her when slowly her head went back and her eyes went blank. My mind was instantly racing… Noooo, did she just die, just like that? They were yelling her name, I said it once. Someone said “take her to the floor!” I stepped out of the room, they are small and all room was needed. Plus, my mind is spinning is…did I just watch her die! I am sure it was a very short time but it seemed like a very long slow time. Her Doc, said to me smiling…. She is speaking!!! It was nice the Doc offered up one of his staff to drive me. I declined. They did all the normal stuff at the hospital and she is there now spending the night for observation. The emergency room doctor said he thinks its was getting nitro in her that fast that saved her from anything worse. She was much better when I left her. They had brought her food and I was setting the TV for Wheel of Fortune!

You had to have someone beep you into the area where patients are. My 2 big sisters was there as I but no one was at the desk. They talked me into going the 4 or 5 feet to push the button. I did, when then tried the door but it didn’t open. Chrissy says… push it again. Drat, now of course I know I shouldn’t go behind the desk and push the button but I would rather blame them, it’s my birth right. Plus, what is the worse that can happen, they take you to hospital jail? Anyway, I push it again and then I hear… hey hey, you are not supposed to be behind there and I instantly turned to them……I told you guys we were not suppose to go back there!!! They started cracking up. The hospital cop say… plus you are pushing the PANIC button not the door button! The sisters started laughing even harder, as did I.

And how bout that new President eh? Sounding pretty good. I did get to watch the swearing in sitting in a waiting room, LOL, I was crying. It was touching.

Sorry for the stress you had to endure. Won’t they take one of your kidneys for pushing the wrong button? 😉

ryn: how will it hurt my rating??

January 30, 2009

LOL! ThatÂ’s exactly how I look at it. I can put money into my propane tank and watch it drop all winter, or I can put the same money into my vehicle, rent, and classes to spend time where it is warmer. I canÂ’t understand why tons more people donÂ’t do it. (((((Hugs)))))

RYN: If you got off of dialup and joined the 21st Century, you might be able to see images. heheheheheh Hell, it’s less than 50k. Be well, my friend.

RYN: No, No, NO! I have much great respect for you. In fact, the person I wrote about…never showed up and noted. So much for that person. All the people that noted were very guilty (over nothing) and gracious. And for that, I am so glad I read them and they read me! I hope you’re having a nice day today.

February 9, 2009

I am glad your mum is doing better- what is wrong with you Jennarella? I was just thinking today I would like to talk to udder on the phone and then now think I was reading your mind- is she is gf now? not the ex? xx

On a serious I think you need to write about your Shannon- autoimmune diseases come from bottling it up- I had lupus and it does not affect me half as much now- because I do write and one has a problem when they think their real problems are just whining- you need to give you a Jenneralla treatment when you tell others and make them think xxxx

February 9, 2009

give you the telling off you need and then write how you are really feeling because your feelings are as valid as the next persons… and thank you for saying that about my Shannon- I think so too! xxx

February 14, 2009
