Maybe two braincells to rub together

I’ve been such a teenager hater lately. The lack of brain cells and their only ability to grunt sends me right up the wall. I’m pretty sure I’m not the first parent who has said this. ]

Jeffrey broke his thumb during Baseball practice. He’s a catcher and had to reach to the right and down a bit so it setup for nice little crack in the bone. Poor thing is benched for at lease 4 weeks. College is going okay for him, though he’s still playing the system. The system is going to bite him in the ass and I’m really all for that at this point.

The other pain-in-the-ass teenager is on 4 months probation, 32 hours community service, UAs, curfew and drug and alcohol awareness. This all over a 4th degree assult charge for firing a cap gun at one of his Dad’s employees last halloween. Yes, a cap gun, you heard me right. What really disturbs me about the boy is he cares of nothing. No hopes. No dreams. Just get by until he can get into the army. His grades this last semester were crap. The only thing he cares about is wrestling. I’m feeling incredibly selfish wanting him to find somewhere else to live, I want my family back. He’s basically stopped helping around the house. I never see him doing homework. He’s gone every Saturday at a wrestling tournament with his coach (whom I find incredibly creepy.) He brings 1st place medals home every time. I cringe every time someone says to me how nice it is that he’s somewhere safe now. I suck.

Baseball started for David as well. I put him in a regular pitch league this year. He’s growing up so fast.

After next week I’m taking two weeks off. I think I might drag the family somewhere when they’re off on Spring Break for a couple of days. Sash will be in a huge wrestling tournament in Las Vegas. I thought we might go to the ocean for a couple nights.. I don’t know yet.

Work is going incredibly well as usual. I took on a ton more work becoming the financial framework lead for IS Operations and Services. So now do I not only control my budget, but the entire enterprise one as well. I’m learning a lotta new schtuff at an incredible rate. Marko is good. Big tall blonde sexy man. Can we stress the ‘blonde’ though here?? hehe He generally hates his job as they do nothing to change anything for the good. I told him to find a technology company and not the ‘non profit’ one he’s in. Hospitals are notorious for not spending on employee growth or process improvement. I think they hoard all that money to settle cases.

Please God, help me to survive the teenagers!

*Message Alert* Answers are needed on “arearug”. Thank you. Teenagers should be locked in a closet. Good day.

Don’t remind me that I’ve got teen years coming soon. Boy is 11 now and already finding girls attractive and wanting to know how to french kiss. Eek! Hope you’re well. Sorry we got distracted during our chat the other day. 🙁 Try again soon, ‘kay? Have a wonderful weekend.

If you treat him as part of the family by doing things such as attending his wrestling matches, don’t you get to treat him as family by kicking his *ss when he doesn’t clean up???!!!!

There should be a survival course for those of us with teens. Maybe with our own camo desgn, even. ryn~Yes, it surprised even me that there is something I wouldn’t share with OD. Who knew?

Sending you strength! ryn: Better – insurance! Love you, too.

RYN: Thanks! I’ve been fighting against the pride myself, on account of it going before a fall…
