In the land of not really knowing where I’m at
I feel very selfish and like cheating everyone when I don’t write; leaving notes and reading you all… thank you for keeping me sane btw!!!
Not much going on since being laid off. Trying to get over all the conflicting feelings and trying to figure out what I want to do.
My house is pretty clean
I’ve been crafting, cleaning, weeding, planting, reading, hauling Dave to games and practices, along with a myriad of other maybe self-destructive behaviours. I need to call outplacement to schedule my appt and also get my ass into training to not waste that little benefit.
I don’t really want to go back to work. Though money will be real tight real soon unless I do.
Marko had the perfect Father’s Day.. Got to watch a little Golf (Wasn’t Tiger great?), Got to watch his son’s baseball team win the championship. Worked with wood in the garage (the cherry vanity is GORGEOUS), eat a FABULOUS dinner and play on his PC in his ‘surreal world’ for the rest of the evening. Men are so easy.
Jeff didn’t graduate.. doesn’t care as he’s never had a normal High School experience. He will continue on with College classes that hopefully Highschool will continue to pay for until he does graduate. I think he only needs like 3 classes. He’s wasted so much time when he really could be further along than he is. Like out of my house.. hehe. Kid is so laid back he’s practically stopped. I hope he’s not still here when he turns 30!
I’m still reading and loving you all,
Dawn
Miss you! Thanks for updating. I have worried!

RYN: This one is my favourite: I am happy, healthy, wealthy, healed and whole. Or this: I can be all I will to be. I can be all I choose to be.

My son may never finish high school. (Well, maybe eventually he will.) I’ve stopped worrying about it. Everyone’s path is just different.

RYN: It’s on 128th right next to the Goodwill. I think the address was in the 1100 block. It’s called Guadalupe and it has a FANTASTIC bakery and a restaurant.

I am working full time but I have a property in Bellevue that I can visit any time and then meet you for coffee or lunch or whatever. I’d LOVE to do that! We can meet after your day for dinner too if you’d rather do that. I work in Wallingford so I can go anywhere.

You can cheat all you want on my diary! Er…yeah, that sounded wrong. But you know what I mean!

RYN: Thank you. Anything you can tell me about how to cope with the recovery – what to expect – I’d be most grateful to hear. I’m so far away from him, and I can’t see a way round that.

I’m kinda jealous of your nonwork status. Although I know I would devolve into a couch blob in about a week. ryn – yes, I am totally relieved it’s over!

hulloo Im back (new name) My Mr18 is still doing high school – taking a long time – it would be quicker if he actually ever did any work! Still, he’s happy. And we SOO do not want him unhappy because he is really good at rubbing it off on us. Be happy. Hope you find a job you like. love

RYN: Oh no. The bed is memory foam. It’s the best bed for backs. Ever.

Thank you for the note. I like my pussy too. Oh, and I went through the unemployment thing 18 months ago. Yep, things can get real tight, and it sucks..but at least, you have six months of checks coming in..usually.
