Your flight has been: Canceled

But ya know what? That’s ok. I’m just glad we found out last night before we were on the road today on the way to Dallas. It’s a friggin 5 – 6 hour drive (with the Monkey) and I would have HATED to have gotten half way or more and THEN found out. So now I don’t leave for home until Tuesday but I’m totally cool with that. A few more days with Hubby and the kitties. 🙂 And the bonus was that since the airport we’re going to was under a storm warning we weren’t charged to change my flight. Sweeeet. 🙂

Hubby still has to sit around and wait for our paperwork to come back from Hawai’i signed before he can get his orders and then get the movers scheduled and get out of here. It’s looking like he won’t get out of here until the middle of March. It’s a shame too because that means he won’t get a re-enlistment bonus which really friggin’ sucks. Not that we were counting on it but we were looking forward to it. *sigh* Ah well. Looks like we’ll have to just buckle down even harder to get out of this debt we’re in. We can do it, it’ll just suck a little more without the bonus. But like I said, we weren’t counting on it just hoping for it and looking forward to it.

So I’m stuck here for 2 more days but it’s a good thing. 🙂
