Decisions, decisions…

So we’ve been toying with the idea of moving lately. You see, we just can’t figure out how to arrange all our stuff to make our current house work. Since we’re adding another addition to our family we are now eligible to move into one of the NEW houses in an area slightly closer to Hubby’s work. Here’s how I’m seeing it:

Pro:
1. Closer to Hubby’s work (not a WHOLE lot but enough to make a little difference.)
2. More room (even moving from a 3 bedroom to another 3 bedroom they’re new and bigger.)
3. Garage!

Con:
1. Laundry room is on 1st floor (current house it’s on the 2nd floor and I LOVE that. Not having to go up and down stairs with laundry baskets is amazing!)
2. Back to sharing a wall. (Our current place is a single family and we only share carport walls not house walls!)
3. Moving. Ugh. How can this NOT be a con?

The other option is to wait it out, figure something out in our current house and then see if Hubby makes MasterSgt first try. If he did then we’d get a really, really nice house to move to that would (I believe) be a new single family home. Best of both worlds. But that means waiting at least a year and a half.

I hate having to make this decision! For now we’re going to get on the list for a new house and see what they offer (floor plan and what not). If we absolutely LOVE what they offer then of course we’ll move. But I’m not betting the farm on loving it. If they offer us what an acquaintance of Hubby’s has I’m pretty sure we’ll decline b/c I hate the layout of the house. But there are a bunch of different floor plans so ya never know.

What would you do? Move now, stay put or hope to move later?
