how do you let someone know?

last yr, dau’s tpt professor acted like he knew all along that this guy she is now going out with liked her. he even teased him in class, saying, i know you guys are trying to get to know each other and all that, but…. so she said to me, i wonder if he knows? he shows a great deal of interest in his students, and especially dau and this guy cuz they are his top two favs, at least until the incoming freshmen got there! 🙂

i said, i bet he knows already. she said, i don’t know. they are not in an ensemble together, so he doesn’t ever see them together, and they are both not fond of pda, so it wouldn’t be terribly obvious to anyone.

her roommate is mad at her. she had intended to stay home this weekend. her roommate had one ticket to a game and was going to go. dau’s bf had two free tickets and asked dau to go. dau said yes. roommate was mad cuz she didn’t go with her. dau said, i would have had to buy a ticket, this one is free! so her roommate is just going through a phase. dau said, i didn’t buy season tickets cuz i knew i would not have time to go, and i didn’t want to spend the money. but i should not be sentenced to never going especially if someone offers me a free ticket.

her roommate has some issues along this line and they rear their ugly head often. dau doesn’t really know what to do about it, but she is confronting it better this year. last year she would just get mad too and avoid her roommate which made her roommate feel even less cared for. now dau and her usually talk it out. i think roommate will come around, but o boy.
