home from work

Work has been better, but I have stayed home yesterday and today because I have such back pain. I feel so helpless! Hub had to help me get dressed, put my socks on, you name it! He is very helpful. In fact last night, I was hobbling upstairs to get a drink of water, and he said, you could have asked me and I would get it for you.

He has been super sweet lately. I am really appreciating it.

Dau is talking seriously about getting married. her bf wants to get engaged in March and get married this summer. She says this summer is too soon, but next summer is too far away. She is only 20. It is freaking me out, except I know they will eventually get married. I just didn’t realize when my dau went off to college this would happen so quickly. She was determined to not even date, and here she will be married before she graduates, I bet.

Son has been having a rough time. He says he doesn’t want to live past high school. He doesn’t know what he wants to do. He has scholarships, but not a full ride. He is quite intelligent and talented. Extremely in both areas, so he is sabatoging his own success in many ways. Right now he has an ear infection, so hub took him to the dr to find that out. he is so tough, and last night he couldn’t stand the pain. Not like him. So I knew it had to be bad. Dr said he had blisters on his ear drum. Son says he can’t hear out of that ear.

The chiropractor said I need to walk around, so I guess I better get off my duff and do so. Sigh. It is so painful. Hub rubbed some gel stuff on my back and he said it is all swollen. I could kind of tell. I can barely move. Weird. I think it is our crummy bed, so I am going to sleep in dau’s bed tonight.
