got a minute

It is hot here. Dau called me from work. She is all worked up cuz the guy she is dating is talking pretty serious. She let him know she is not ready for anything serious just yet, but she is still freaking out. I told her that if he knows now, it will be ok. He is a gem of a guy. But he is 3 yrs older and more ready to settle down than she is. she is just getting started on her education, and has beaucoup bucks in scholarships. She doesn’t have to pay a dime for anything.

So she is feeling all emotional. It was nice that she called me. I just listened. I said a few things, but mostly just listened. So now I am a little scared too. They haven’t been dating all that long. Only 2 weeks before she moved home, but she has seen him just about every other weekend since she came home. I need to pray about this. I don’t want her to break his heart, but it might happen. And hers would be broken too.

Time to pray.
